    Illustrates the royal portraits of the two Kings: King Rama V and VI in full dress uniform and, in the back-ground, the Ministry of Defence building which used to be office place of the inspector General Department. 

    It was on the date of May 6, 1903 that Inspector General activities being set up in the Thai army by King Rama V and the General Crown Prince Mahavajiravudh, by royal appointment, became the first Inspector General whose duties were of army inspections. So we regard the date of "May 6" as the establishment day of the Inspector General Department
